Digital Transformation of the Region’s Education Sector in the Face of New Challenges Features

Abstract

The article updates the role and significance of the use of digital technologies in the modern educational space. Foreign experience in digitalization of the education sector is considered and the advantages of using digital innovations in the pedagogical process are highlighted. It is shown that the adaptation of Russian educational institutions to the use of new technological and digital innovations is becoming mandatory for the provision of quality educational services. Based on the content analysis carried out, the authors consider the main problems of digitalization of the education sector of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In some rural secondary schools of the republic, there is a certain shortage of qualified teachers who can effectively use digital technologies in the educational process. The study identifies the key elements of digital transformation in the field of education in the region. The use of artificial intelligence technologies to personalize students, the creation of intelligent tutors and automatic assessment systems will help improve the efficiency of educational processes. It is summarized that digital transformation provides new opportunities and prospects for improving learning processes and increasing the accessibility of students’ knowledge. Adaptation of digital innovations requires the use of a systematic approach, including the development of educational infrastructure, training of personnel of educational institutions and monitoring the quality of education.
