Online School as a Challenge to the Didactic Foundations of General Education in Russia
Abstract
The article discusses the urgent need to coordinate the methods of digitalization of education and the requirements of classical didactics. The presence of physiological and psychological disorders of students' health during distance learning is noted. Several psychological and pedagogical issues are considered, the solution of which should be a priority when creating digital educational resources, but often escapes the attention of the creators. In particular, this is a discrepancy between the age characteristics of students for whom the content of digital resources is designed, for example, the features of the difference between the influence of computer games and the leading role of social play in the development of a preschooler's personality. The problem of weak interpersonal communication when participating in online learning is particularly noted, which seriously reduces the effectiveness of learning in adolescence. The necessity of reducing such a negative effect of digital learning as limiting the formation of vocabulary is discussed. Problems in this area when evaluating training in a test form have been considered for a long time. It is proposed to solve the problem by increasing the volume and complexity of the texts presented, choosing texts that are diverse in form and style. Moreover, it is important that at least part of the work on the text takes place outside the digital environment, with a paper book, which will help the student learn to concentrate on the process of acquiring knowledge, concentrate, master himself. The article states that it is dangerous to believe that the formation of the personality of a child, teenager, or young person can "adjust" to the requirements of the digital community in a couple of decades. On the contrary, it itself should recall and internalize the knowledge gained by previous generations of great teachers about the nature of education.
