Отцовство как психологический феномен. Обзор современной зарубежной литературы

Аннотация

В статье приводится литературный обзор современных зарубежных исследований, посвященных теме отцовства. Психическое здоровье детей и взрослых тесно переплетено с родительскими фигурами. Исторически фигура отца выделялась в работах психологов, однако, практически ими не изучалась. Современные исследования не только подтверждают равную значимость материнской и отцовской фигуры, но и выделяют специфическое влияние именно отцов. Прямое влияние распространяется на когнитивное развитие, социально-эмоциональные компетенции, а также физическое сходство. Также отмечается косвенное влияние отцов, через отношения с матерями, на психологическое благополучие, детско-родительские отношения в целом и поведение детей. Роль отца положительно влияет на психологическое здоровье мужчин и их благополучие в целом. Распространение феномена «нового отцовства» является общемировой тенденцией и способствует не только улучшению психического здоровья населения, но и более комплексному исследованию проблем отцовства.
