ГРАММАТИКА Я

Если и есть еще скептики, которые упорствуют в своем непри­ятии Я, то размах и разнообразие новейших исследований убедят их в том, что Я снова с нами. В последние три или четыре деся­тилетия оно во многих университетах было изгнано с кафедр пси­хологии в угоду научной добропорядочности и бихевиоризму и, по выражению Ральфа Тернера (1977, с.9), «едва не пало жертвой здо­рового иконоборчества, присущего раннему бихевиоризму». И, тем не менее, без Я никогда, в сущности, не обходились ни изучение развития детской психики, ни теория личности (что доказывают недавние работы Стерна /1985/ об «ощущении Я» у младенцев), ни, тем более, клиническая психиатрия. Более того, описания неко­торых редких психиатрических и неврологических типов, связанных со множественным сознанием и непроизвольными действиями, пре­вратились в настоящий пробный камень для философов, бьющихся над загадкой «личного тождества». Все это сжато и остроумно из­ложено в фантастической притче Деннетта (1984).

Вне всякой связи с двусмысленным влиянием на общую психо­логию бихевиоризма (который хотя и избавил ее от некоторых ложных абстракций, но в то же время породил бессмысленную и даже вредную щепетильность по отношению к любому использова­нию субъективного опыта), европейские и североамериканские фи­лософы-позитивисты с неутомимым пылом принялись разоблачать путаницу в понятиях, отличающую несколько сумбурный язык тех, кто еще пытался рассуждать о Я. Как ни странно, хотя родиной этих философских методов была немецкоязычная Европа, от них почти не пострадала довольно расплывчатая, сосредоточенная на Я психофилософия, которая в то время процветала во Франции и Германии. Однако в этих странах ей даровали пощаду, а англоязыч­ным философам и психологам повезло меньше, так что в итоге их интеллектуальное воспитание приобрело характер спартанской суро­вости, граничащей с полным истощением.
