Copresence phenomenon in the beginning of psychology counseling process

Abstract

The summary. Results of “copresence” phenomenon in the beginning of psychotherapy process research presented in the article. Literal shorthand reports of psychotherapeutic sessions were used as a research material. Results show that the main role in "copresence" formation is played by the dialogical coordination of a subject of joint activity of the psychotherapist and the patient. Main conclusion is, that formation of “copresence” is a key task for therapist during first phase of psychotherapy process, and quality of psychotherapy as a whole depends on how fast and qualitatively this task would be done.
