Abstract

The article is devoted to the general consideration of the ways of using video materials in English class. The method of work is aimed at the formation of students’ intercultural competence. The publication describes in detail the situations in which the use of videos is a necessary tool to build classes in the right way and achieve a high quality of the work. The characteristic features of working with video material in the classroom are analyzed. Based on the data obtained in the course of the study, the degree of effectiveness of the use of this technique in school was revealed.
