Abstract

Article deals with the texts devoted to the first Russian saints princes-martyrs Boris and Gleb and Vladimir the Baptizer, their father. Abridged version of the «Narration of Boris and Gleb» by Nestor and the 6th version of St. Vladimir’s Ordinary Vita, known only in the Panegyrikons of the 16th century before, were found in the Panegyrikon Tikhonravovsky 185 written in the West Russian lands in the 1470s. Both texts were edited for the protograph of Tikhonravovsky 185 and then used in the Panegyrikons of the Central Russian and West Russian origin, testifying the confluence of traditions.
