Abstract

The article deals with the development of creative artistic abilities of schoolchildren. In an organized experimental training aimed at forming an independent reader, it is shown that children develop literary abilities from lesson to lesson: artistic imagination, observation and speech. It was revealed that artistic creativity is the leading, most significant moment of learning for children. The creative role of the teacher in the development of literary abilities is separately considered.
