Abstract

The problem of psychological readiness of children to study at school is most relevant among the problems of age and pedagogical psychology in recent years. The article presents two global approaches to this problem. The problem of psychological readiness for school is considered through the prism of the concept of "crisis 7 years." Two main schemes for addressing the psychological readiness of children for school are presented. The author attempts empirically to confirm the hypothesis that the reflection of external actions is a central component of the psychological readiness of children for school. The hypothesis was confirmed.
