Abstract

The article reveals the concept of psychological readiness for schooling. Based on the work of L.I. Bozhovich and L.S. Vygotsky, the parameters of the child's mental development that affect the success of learning are distinguished. An analysis of neoplasms and prerequisites that form readiness for school is being carried out. A diagnostic program is proposed to determine the mental readiness of children 6-7 years old for school. The implementation of the presented program is assumed by creating specific development groups. The principles of working with development groups, their characteristics, goals, objectives and prospects are described.
