Abstract
Context and relevance. The article is devoted to the organization and principles of the psychological education service, which is part of the general education system. The author emphasizes the importance of ensuring the mental and psychological health of preschool and school-age children, noting that the modern educational environment requires a systematic approach to the development of the child's personality, the prevention of psychological problems and the close interaction of the psychologist with teachers and parents. Purpose. Determine the goals, objectives and main directions of the psychological education service, as well as formulate the basic principles of the work of a practical psychologist in an educational institution. Methods and materials. Theoretical analysis of the functions of the psychological service of education Description of practical approaches to the work of a psychologist (education, prevention, counseling, diagnosis, correction) Method of psychological and pedagogical consultation as a tool for collective discussion and development of an individual approach to students Proposal of algorithm (stages) for the implementation of diagnostic and diagnostic and corrective work Results. Two main activities of the service are identified: current (solving current problems) and prospective (developing the individuality of each child) Key activities of the psychologist are identified: psychological education, prevention, counseling, diagnosis and correction The need for continuity of psychological support of the child during the transition from one age level to another has been substantiated A step-by-step algorithm for diagnostic and corrective work has been proposed: from the study of the request and the formulation of the problem to the implementation of the program and monitoring its implementation, the importance of an individual approach based on recognizing the uniqueness of each child and the importance of partnerships between a psychologist and a teacher was emphasized Conclusion. The main goal of the psychological education service is to achieve the psychological health of children. This is realized through a combination of preventive and corrective approaches, the use of an individual approach to each child and the close cooperation of a psychologist with teachers and parents. The effectiveness of the service depends on the professional and personal qualities of the psychologist, his ability to create a trusting environment and provide conditions for the full mental development of the child's personality.
