Structure of the Service of practical psychology in the system of the Department of Education of Moscow

The article describes the model of activity of the service of practical psychology of education in Moscow, which provides multi-level psychological assistance. This service consists of two main structural elements - 1) educational institutions for children in need of psychological, pedagogical and medical-social assistance, and 2) psychologists working in educational institutions of various types. The Scientific and Methodological Council on Psychology, which deals with strategic planning and coordination of the service's activities, was established in 2000 to more effectively address topical issues of the service. The article also discusses the activities of psychological, medical and social centers and a comprehensive program for the development of the service of practical psychology.
