Abstract

The author made verbal portraits of future firstyear students after she had conducted school readiness test on children entering school. Children were tested individually using the Witzlak technique. The author compares public schools' future pupils with future gymnasium students and also focuses on the differences between 6 year old and 7 year old gymnasium students.
