Psychological Conditions of Creative Development in Adolescents with Cerebral Palsy

572

Abstract

The system of programmes «Discovering the World» developed by professor L.I. Aidarova and based upon the main principles of L.S. Vygotsky's cultural historical theory enables one to make activity of adolescents with infantile cerebral paralysis more creative. Working within these programmes enables adolescents: to learn how to be «young teachers» for children with the same disease; to become active participants in discussions with various specialists; to act as interested speakers and listeners and to be of much help to an older audience. Such productive activity of adolescents in the named spheres makes it possible for them to change a consumer's position to a creative and active one, when what they do is needed and significant for others.
