Abstract

The article presents a research with the hypothesis that object models are the first step at mastering perceptive operations. Since actions with them are familiar to pre-school children and are object-manipulative in nature; and by elder pre-school age is mastered very well. A computer game activates thinking processes as it excludes possibility of getting desired result by usual manipulation with objects. We have developed a course that allows transferring objective actions into mental / cognitive scheme by changing activity types and, as a result using more complicated intellectual operations in problem solving. The article analyses typical mistakes and difficulties that children face while solving construction tasks, summarizes results and draws conclusions on the effectiveness of this method.
