Motivation of teachers leaving the education sphere

Abstract

The contribution is dedicated to the study of motivation and psychological readiness of teacher for leaving the education sphere. It identifies the positive and negative factors of making this decision. It examines the level of psychological readiness of teacher for moving to other spheres of activity depending on the motivation for making the decision and the level of its independence. Two interpretations of the system determinant of the teachers leaving the education sphere: non-constructive resolution of professional crisis and axiological crisis related to the changes of personal meaning of life.
