Research of stability of the man’s lifeworld: the method and psychometric characteristics

The contribution presents the experience of creation of author’s research method aimed at studying the stability of a man’s lifeworld. This method is aimed at research of peculiarities of man’s organization of his life activity and allows to identify the manifestations of the lifeworld’s stability (constructive, unconstructive, stagnating) in the conditions of real existence. The procedure of carrying out the research, processing and interpreting of the data was defined from the position of indices and criteria of stability of a man’s lifeworld included in the method. Results of a specially organized work on research of its psychometric characteristics are shown as a proof of the method’s reliability. This method can be used in educational practice, psychological counseling and psychotherapy. It is informative in the fields of reflexive attitude to life self-fulfillment, quality of life, man’s readiness to innovative activity, non-standard (creative) decisions, life choice. Prognostic potential of the method is expanded upon estimation of success of man’s self-fulfillment in the conditions of real life activity.
