Psychological and Pedagogical Features of Distance Education and Personality of Distance Education Students

Abstract

During the last decades, distance education technologies are being actively introduced in higher education. They are based on the use of up-to-date information and communication technologies (ICT). A number of studies concern psychological and educational aspects of the development and use of ICT technologies in higher education. Several studies report psychological and pedagogical aspects of the university educational process based on distance education technologies. This article focuses on analysis of relationship of distance technologies and the necessity of forming students’ subjectivity during the learning process. Presented are results of studies of distance education students’ personal characteristics.
