Methodological foundations of psychology of interaction between the employees of investigating authorities and minor interrogatees

Abstract

The contribution analyzes the methodological foundations of psychology of interaction between the employees of investigating authorities and the most difficult, for professional judicial communication, category of minor interrogatees - offenders and victims of sexual crimes. It presents the judicial and psychological aims of interaction between the investigator and the interrogatee during the interrogation (determining the truth in a criminal case through acquisition of full and truthful statements from the interrogatee; making educational influence on a minor offender; excluding or minimizing the secondary psychotraumatization of minor victims by the procedure of this investigative activity). The contribution also identifies the functional levels of psychological interaction (processual, role-based, subject-subject), analyzes the principles of psychological interaction (motivational differentiation, legality of psychological influence, psychotechnical knowledge and judicial meaning of psychological phenomena), which ensure the implementation of personality approach towards the minor during interrogation, integrating professional psychological knowledge in the process of preparation for and carrying out of this investigative activity.
