It shows the peculiarities of socio-psychological interaction of an operative with representatives of criminal environment during professional activity related to countering the illegal drug traffic. Relations which are formed in the process of socio-psychological interaction of an operative and dyadic partner are considered as a result (or a product) of studied interaction. Such relations may increase the effectiveness of the interaction or decrease it.
