Organization of correctional-developmental education of children with autism spectrum disorders on the example of adaptive physical education

Abstract

The contribution is dedicated to relevant questions of children with autism in the conditions of a specialized center. The organization of the process of education of children with autism is examined on the example of adaptive physical education, the importance and foremost meaning of which is beyond doubt. The article presents a complex system approach to choosing the way of educational action.The study identified positive sides of use of physical exercise in the day schedule of pupils with autism. It also defined the conditions which have a significant influence on teaching a child with autism to carry out purposeful movements. The contribution describes rules and methods which are recommended for using in the process of correctional developmental work with children with autism spectrum disorders. It lists competences and psychological mindsets of a specialist in adaptive physical education.
