Development of a questionnaire for the diagnosis of legitimate professional orientation of personality

Vocational education needs tools, provides not only an assessment of the legal knowledge and ability to apply them effectively, but also diagnosis of motivational readiness for future professionals to legitimate behavior in the professional field. Because of the lack of such tools, the aim of the study described in this article was to develop methods, diagnosing legitimate professional orientation of personality (as a motivational basis of legitimate legally competent professional activity). The questionnaire developed by the authors is based on a theoretical model of professionally legitimate personality orientation, reflecting the structural-content and criterion-evaluating characteristics of its formedness. We provide psychometric properties of the questionnaire and the results of empirical studies necessary for its validation, which were carried out on students from non-legal university (sample of 250 people aged 20 to 45 years, the ratio of male and female 1:1).
