Abstract

The article presents results of dynamic studies on behavioral problem-solving disorders in schizophrenic patients who have committed socially dangerous acts (SDAs) and are undergoing active dispensary observation (ADO). The research objective was the development and approbation of the program for psychological correction of the problem-solving behavior among individuals with schizophrenia, involved in the ADO. Twenty-two subjects - men with schizophrenia who committed SDAs, have participated in the pre- and post-testing. Experimental group comprised of 14 men who underwent the psychocorrection, and control group consisted of 8 men, who were not involved in the intervention program. The investigated parameters of the problem-solving behavior showed significant differences (p ≤ 0,05) in the group before and after the psychological treatment.
