Psychological Aspects of Information Safety of Children and Adolescents on the Internet

Abstract

The paper analyses information and psychological threats to the safety of children and adolescents on the Internet. Such threats can be divided into two groups: the threats affecting one’s sense of personal security (external threats) and the threats undermining the integrity of one’s personality (internal threats). The paper provides a brief review of the relevant problems related to the information and psychological safety of children and adolescents in the Internet and gives some recommendations on how to eliminate these problems.
