This paper gives a detailed picture of the key episodes in the visit of the noted American professor Harold Takooshian to Russia in September-December, 2013. It carefully describes a series of meetings and professional contacts made by profes- sor Takooshian and Alexander Voronov, who accompanied him, with various researchers, lecturers and students of the leading Russian institutes of higher educa- tion and academies, such as the National Research University "Higher School of Economics", Lomonosov Moscow State University, People's Friendship University of Russia, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Moscow Regional State University for Humanities and Social Studies, Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
