Digital Educational Environment as a Means of Developing the Professional Competencies of Teachers

Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of the problem of digitalization of modern education and the problem of the development of professional technological competencies among teachers. A modern teacher should possess digital competencies, if necessary, work remotely and improve his level using the capabilities of the digital environment. The results show that the education system is quite conservative and teachers at the stage of preparation or retraining need to purposefully increase the technical level of digital technology proficiency. In the future, it is necessary to conduct an empirical study with teachers (taking into account gender, age, specialty and university).
