Abstract

The results of a theoretical analysis of the problem of the development of information technologies and alternative methods of communication as a possibility of the emergence of new types of violence and abuse are presented. A special place among illegal actions is occupied by sexual offenses where the accused are minors. There is a specificity in the behavior of adolescents and features that limit the understanding of the danger of the actions performed. It is noted that juvenile offenders evaluate online communication as an element of gaming activity, a number of torts are committed to create content on social networks, teenagers often discuss sexual topics and exchange images with younger children in the context of studying relations between the sexes. Taking into account the fact that deviant and delinquent behavior changes in new social conditions, the study of children and adolescents in the context of the Internet environment is an integral part of the development of digital society and will help not only to understand the mechanisms of its formation and functioning, but will also provide opportunities for preventing cyber aggression.
