На современном этапе к нарушениям раннего социального взаимодействия относят дефицит навыков совместного внимания. Данные исследований внимания и его нарушений свидетельствуют о том, что дети с атипичным развитием испытывают трудности в регуляции внимания другого человека и отслеживании направления фокуса внимания партнера по общению.
