Теории и практики измерения осознания в экспериментальных когнитивных исследованиях

Аннотация

Одной из ключевых методических проблем когнитивно-психологических исследований является измерение осознания. Выбор метода измерения часто происходит без привязки к конкретным теориям или формулировки каких-либо эксплицитных допущений о природе измеряемого феномена. Выдвигается идея о том, что низкая степень теоретической обоснованности применяемых методов приводит к неконструктивной критике и разногласиям между исследователями. Рассмотрены основные методы измерения осознания в исследованиях научения, памяти и восприятия, а также допущения о природе сознания, лежащие в основе этих методов, и их взаимосвязь с теориями сознания. Проведена оценка степени обоснованности применения методов измерения осознания на выборке из 179 экспериментальных работ. Показано, что лишь в четверти случаев исследователи явным образом связывали использованные методы с теоретическими представлениями о природе сознания, в остальных случаях выбор метода не был теоретически обоснован.
