Попытки изменить сексуальную ориентацию: этические вопросы 2039

Аннотация

В статье рассматривается эффективность и уместность терапевтических попыток смены сексуальной ориентации. Обсуждается сама концепция сексуальной ориентации и ее функциональная значимость для клиники. Описываются попытки изменить модель сексуального возбуждения в рамках различных психотерапевтических традиций, а также в религиозной перспективе. Автор подчеркивает, что попытки помощи гомосексуально ориентированным людям, которые хотели бы изменить свойственные им паттерны сексуального возбуждения, могут проводиться с соблюдением этики, и должны быть доступны клиентам, обращающимся за такой помощью.
