Abstract

The experts of the Center for Psychological, Medical and Social Support to Children and Adolescents of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education conducted the pilot approbation of The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills — Revised (ABLLS_R). The method is used for diagnostics and assessment of the functional skills and speech development level of children and adults with developmental delays or autism spectrum disorders in order to develop individual education plan and to assess teaching efficiency. The first part of the published description contains the history of the test development, goals and conditions of the assessment, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the list of areas of skills for assessment and ways of collecting data. The pilot approbation of the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills — Revised (ABLLS_R) was conducted by the experts of the Center for Psychological, Medical and Social Support to Children and Adolescents of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education in 2014.
