Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the advanced function of professional pedagogical education. The key strategies of modernization of advanced professional training of the future teacher are described: integrating contextual factors and ontological patterns of the evolution of educational systems and issues requiring clarification of the image of childhood in the modern era into curriculum of the future teacher’s training; anthropologization of teaching psychological and pedagogical disciplines; development and introduction of innovative educational technologies into the educational process; identification and support of the most effective practices of popularization of psychological and pedagogical knowledge, mechanisms for the development of informing the pedagogical community about achievements of psychological and pedagogical science. The conclusion is made about the need to ensure the dialectic of contextuality and constancy of educational content, about the unity and interdependence of the tasks of improving the professional training of a teacher and the tasks of increasing the functional literacy of society.
