Abstract

Context and relevance. The search for innovative methods of assessing the professional competencies of graduates of defectology and their qualitative preparation for understanding the content of the future profession are an integral part of the modern education system. Goal. To assess the possibilities and adequacy of the use of traditional and modern relevant technologies for training specialists and their impact on the quality of the level of professional readiness of future speech pathologists. Methods and materials. The article presents materials on the design, development of the content and testing of the demonstration (professional) exam within the framework of the current and final certification of students of defectology at Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University in the structure of the mastered professional program. The requirements for the development of tasks for the demonstration exam, as well as the criteria for their independent expert assessment, developed by the faculty of the Department of Special (Defectological) Education, are described. Results. The results proved the relevance and importance for students of defectology of situations of working out technologies of correctional and developmental education not only on the bases of practice in educational organizations, but also in seminars conducted by teachers of the department of Special (defectological) education with extensive experience in methodological work. Conclusions. The proposed interactive forms of work make it possible not only to significantly diversify the training of students of speech pathologists, but also to improve the quality of professional competence formation.
