Systemic Approach in Psychology: Science and Education

1538

Abstract

The article stresses the importance of a special analysis of interaction between science and education. It is noted that one of the challenges both for science and education is the increasing fragmentation of disciplines. A synthesis of these disciplines' material can counterbalance this trend, aiming at construction the scientific description of a single reality, different aspects of which are allocated by these disciplines. We believe that the optimal «language» for such integration is the systemicevolutionary methodology approach, that allows accomplish an interdisciplinary synthesis while avoiding reductionism and elimination. The correspondence of studies conducted in the framework of systemic-evolutionary approach to the world scientific mainstream is described. We show how the content of research conducted in the V. B. Shvyrkov Laboratory of the Neurophysiological Basis of Mind at Institute of Psychology, RAS is in agreement with the teaching content of the corresponding disciplines at Psychophysiology Chair, SUH.
