Abstract

The author considers the course of mathematics for the V-IX classes of secondary school from the point of view of the ideas of the educational system of D.B. Elkonin - V.V. Davydov. A reflective review of the material of grades I-III allows us to build further education in grades V-VI as a purposeful activity of children to expand the system of natural numbers, and, ultimately, to build a system of real numbers.
