Current trends in the development of psychodiagnosis
Abstract
The article traces the history of psychodiagnosis in Russia since the 20s. Criticism of her theoretical and methodological positions is analyzed in detail. The author identifies two main functions of psychodiagnosis in education. 1) Ensuring the effective assimilation of educational knowledge and skills, as well as full mental and personal development. 2) Assessment of the quality of education itself. A new concept of criterion-oriented testing is being considered. It is based on the idea of the normative nature of mental and personal development. As a criterion, it is proposed to use the so-called socio-psychological standard (SPN). The introduction of the principle of regularity in diagnostics made it possible to revise the objectives of testing and all stages of design, verification, interpretation of methods and approach meaningful diagnostics, which provides for a mandatory theoretical justification of the content entered into the test task.
