Stress-Factors Affecting Psychosocial Stability Development in Students

1293

Abstract

The authors compare the influence of study-related and study-unrelated stressors on students. The sample included 158 second-year students of Moscow universities aged 19-20 years. Stressors were classified by their sphere of influence, stability, prevalence, subjective tension, type of emotion, and orientation of action (constructive or destructive). In comparison with study-related stressors, study-unrelated stressors have the strongest influence on underdeveloped levels of psychosocial stability in students.
