The Specificity of Resources and Mechanisms of Psychological Stability of Students With Disabilities in Terms of Inclusive Education

Abstract

This article examines personal resources and psychological stability mechanisms of persons with disabilities and its role in inclusive education. The work presents a comparative analysis of psychological stability resources and mechanisms received from research data conducted in 2009-2010 by specialists from Laboratory of Personality Development Problems of People with Disabilities on the Faculty of Information Technologies (MSUPE) and at College of Social Pedagogy (MSUPE). The results clearly demonstrate common and particular features in the structure of psychological stability of students with disabilities and their healthy peers resulting from the specific conditions of their development.
