Immediate Problems of Seniors’ Socialization in an Educational Institution

Abstract

The article explains the timeliness of the problem of socialization, the controversies in approaches to its solving and the readiness of modern educational institutions to become institutes and agents of socialization. It describes possible prospects of arrangement of conditions for the senior’s socialization optimization in an educational institution under conditions of transition to the Federal national standart of secondary education in the education system of Russia. It presents an expensive analysis of psychological and educational literature on the problem of socialization of children and adolescents, emphasis is made on the description of the specifics of the sociolization process in upper school age. The article presents the experience of “Psychology” subject introduction into a modern regular school in order to improve the psychological literacy of the students and to shape their psychological health as a foundation for construction of seniors’conscious perceptions of their own personal results in mastering the secondary education program.
