Abstract

The article deals with the problem of personal capacity in young people, its formation and implementation in innovations. We analyze various theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding the main features of subject of innovation. We consider the characteristics and main factors of innovative behavior, analyze conceptual foundations of the “personal capacity” concept and especially its operationalization in psychological science. We discuss the problem of relationship of innovative behavior and personal capacity. In order to determine the substantive features of the personal capacity of students involved in innovative activities, we conducted an empirical study. The results of the study allowed us to identify the main components of personal capacity of a subject of innovation: motivational, emotional, and individual-psychological.
