Preparation for Olympiads in Informatics



The paper deals with a number of issues of preparation for Olympiads in Informatics within the framework of the project method based on programmable constructors. According to the authors, various stages of such an implementation of the project method in the procedure for preparing students for Olympiads in Informatics and the target orientation of each of these stages are highlighted. The available opportunities for creating a systematic approach to develop and maintain interest in programming within the framework of the peculiarities of organizing the educational process of informatics lessons, determined by the current governing regulatory documents of the Republic of Belarus, are analyzed. The requirements for organizing the preparation of students for Olympiads in Informatics, the conditions and experience of successful immersion in Olympiad programming, taking into account the frequency of Olympiads, are formulated. The possibilities of using programmable constructors to increase the visibility of the use of algorithmic structures in the substantive implementation of algorithms for solving problems are described, based on a well-thought-out, step-by-step implementation of a certain program. Some aspects of a certain gradation of students based on test results to justify their individual educational trajectory using the proposed method and possible forms of its use to create an optimal team of participants in the Olympiad are discussed.
