В статье представлен обзор современных зарубежных публикаций по проблеме мотивационного развития детей дошкольного возраста. Большая часть исследований сосредоточена на изучении мотивации достижения у детей в контексте проблематики обучения и готовности к школе. Показано влияние детской мотивации на успешность обучения. Исследования показывают, что практики дошкольного образования, центрированные на ребенке, ориентированные на потребности и интересы детей, а также их социальные навыки, положительно влияют на формирование интереса детей к учению. Содействие мотивационному развитию детей – важнейшая задача дошкольного образования.
