Социальная аргументация подростков в контексте проблемы соотношения общего и социального интеллекта

В статье представлен обзор зарубежной литературы по проблеме соотношения общего и социального интеллекта, а также – в качестве эмпирической иллюстрации – результаты корреляционного исследования, в котором изучалась взаимосвязь интеллектуальных способностей с подростков с качественными особенностями их социальной аргументации. Было выявлено, что взаимосвязи с особенностями социального аргументирования в подростковом возрасте образует вербальный – но не невербальный – интеллект. Данные взаимосвязи могут быть как продуктивны, так и контрпродуктивны с точки зрения качества социальной дискуссии. Полученные результаты обсуждаются в контексте проблемы соотношения общего и социального интеллекта, с фокусом на функциональной роли вербального интеллекта в социальном познании, и рассматриваются в качестве психологических факторов, важных для разработки программ развития компетенций подростков, составляющих культуру академических и социальных дискуссий
