Религиозная идентичность в зарубежных психологических исследованиях: теоретические модели и способы изучения

В данной статье представлен подробный анализ различных зарубежных теоретических подходов и концепций, посвященных изучению религиозной идентичности. При этом религиозная идентичность рассматривается как социально-психологический феномен, обладающий определенной структурой и имеющий ряд отличий от близких ей по значению понятий, таких как религиозность и духовность. В статье так же приводятся и анализируются различные методики, которые могут быть использованы для изучения религиозной идентичности в рамках эмпирического исследования.

В рамках психологической науки ре­лигиозность довольно долго считали не­существенной характеристикой, и вни­мание исследователей было направлено на изучение совершенно других личностных и поведенченских проявлений. Исключение составляли У. Джеймс и С. Холл [22].
