Psychological and Pedagogical Consilium as a Mandatory Component of Psychological and Pedagogical Support of Children with Disabilities in Inclusive Education
Abstract
Psychological and pedagogical (educational) program is designed to improve the psychological and pedagogical competence of managers, teachers and specialists in psychological and pedagogical support of inclusive schools that need to improve the quality of organizing the activities of the school psychological and pedagogical consilium (PPC), is a short-term practice-oriented program of professional development. The program involves strengthening the professional attitudes of teachers to provide psychological and pedagogical assistance to each child with disabilities, is aimed at mastering the necessary psychological knowledge by the participants, the formation and improvement of specific professional skills and abilities (communicative, analytical, reflective, design) necessary for members of the teaching staff to mastering the technology of preparing and conducting PPC as a special form of team interaction between specialists. The program is implemented in the technology of intensive psychological education of adults, involves focusing on specific age-related personal, psychophysiological, and cognitive potentials of adult students and on the features of professional motivation of pedagogical workers — participants in the program.
