Additional General Educational Developmental Program “Correction of Difficulties in Mastering the Educational Program for Students of Primary General Education (Neuropsychological Approach)”

Abstract

The article provides a description of the additional general educational developmental program of work with children aged 7 to 10 years who have difficulties in mastering the educational program based on methods of neuropsychological correction. The author identifies the types of difficulties in relation to which the effectiveness of the program has been confirmed: difficulties associated with the shortcomings in the formation of complex in structure and multi-level organization of motor skills of writing and reading, difficulties due to the peculiarities of the formation of the cognitive component of writing, reading and computational skills, as well as difficulties, associated with shortcomings in the formation of the regulatory component of writing, reading and computing skills. The program is aimed at harmonizing the development of higher mental functions in order to overcome difficulties in mastering the educational program. The evaluation of the quality of the program was carried out on the basis of quantitative and qualitative indicators based on the results of a psychodiagnostic examination, observation, and a survey of children and parents.
