Abstract

Context and relevance. The assessment of the outcomes of mastering the educational program in accordance with the requirements of the professional activity of an educational psychologist is implemented through the introduction of a professional (demonstration) exam as a form of intermediate and state final certification in pedagogical universities. Objective. To identify and describe the readiness of pedagogical universities to implement a demonstration exam for graduates of educational psychologists. Hypothesis. The readiness of students majoring in education psychology for the demonstration exam is related to their confidence in practical training and awareness of its organization and implementation. Methods and materials. The study involved 30 pedagogical universities from 27 regions of the Russian Federation: 26 heads of sites for conducting demonstration examinations; 45 heads of departments; 626 final-year undergraduate students, future educational psychologists. The survey was conducted online. Results. The results showed a relationship between the responses of educational psychologist students about their practical training during their studies and their awareness of the demonstration exam. Conclusions. Organizational, methodological, personnel and material and technical conditions for organizing and conducting demonstration exams in pedagogical universities for bachelor's degree graduates, future educational psychologists have been created.
