The Review of M. Csikszentmihalyi's Book “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience”

Abstract

New for the Russian psychology concepts of “flow”, “optimal experience”, and foundations by M. Csikszentmihalyi are analyzed in the article. Their functions, specific features, connections with motivation, aim and other phenomena are discussed. The complex definition of the “flow” to integrate into practical psychology is proposed in article.
