New educational subject "Philosophy for children"
Abstract
The author analyzes the new program "Philosophy for Children," developed under the guidance of Professor M. Lipman. This program involves the formation of a truly reflective and self-correcting type of thinking in a child. The main form of education is the discussion by students and teachers of issues and problems that are interesting for them and have philosophical content. The program includes texts for children, a teacher's guide containing plans for organizing a discussion, a system of games and exercises.
