Abstract

Prominent psychologist L.S. Vygotsky considers the problem of studying thinking in psychology. An analysis of the interpretation of thinking according to Thorndike, Piaget is given. The author tracks the development of the very concept of thinking. It is proved that everyday and scientific concepts develop in different ways, although they also have common ground.
